I’m an evolutionary biologist and ecologist with an interest in dispersal. My ongoing projects address habitat predictors of long-term dispersal patterns in the North American beaver (Castor canadensis), as well as the fundamental biomechanics behind their movement. I combine field data, remote sensing, biophysics, and rigorous statistical methods to address the questions that interest me.
I am currently a PhD student and biology lab instructor at the University of Montana.
